**Job title:** Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect
**Role Summary:** Deliver end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions for a federal client, including complex configuration, customization, integration, and continuous improvement. Ensure secure, high‑quality deployments across Lightning, Service Cloud, and third‑party systems while maintaining compliance with federal security requirements.
**Expectations:**
- Lead Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation for large‑scale, mission‑critical projects.
- Enable end‑user adoption through training, documentation, and responsive support.
- Maintain rigorous change management, testing, and documentation standards.
- Secure and maintain Public Trust clearance, complying with all federal guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and configure Salesforce environments (Lightning components, Apex, Process Builder, Flow, Lightning App Builder).
- Integrate third‑party applications and APIs, managing data flow and system interactions.
- Participate in design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
- Create and maintain test plans, training materials, and user documentation.
- Manage tickets (incidents, requests, changes, problems) and adhere to SOPs.
- Drive continuous improvement in app design, support processes, and best‑practice adoption.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to end users and junior developers.
- Conduct independent research to resolve complex technical challenges.
**Required Skills:**
- U.S. citizen, eligible for Public Trust security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Application Architect.
- 12+ years IT experience; 8+ on Salesforce Lightning; 5+ in Service Cloud (Omni‑Channel, Live Agent, Case Management).
- Proficient with Lightning Design System, Apex, declarative tools, GitLab, Salesforce CLI, VS Code.
- Strong understanding of system integration, ICD design, Scrum, and RPA.
- Agile/Scrum experience with Jira and collaborative development tools.
- Excellent communication, solution design, and user‑support skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
