Salesforce Administrator
Role Summary
Manage and extend the Salesforce CRM platform for a global medical technology organization, ensuring robust configuration, data integrity, user support, and integration with complementary tools (HubSpot, Conga CPQ, Power BI). Collaborate with the Commercial team to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive process improvements.
Expectations
- Administer Salesforce and related applications (user accounts, profiles, roles, security, workflows, and automation).
- Translate commercial business needs into effective system enhancements and best‑practice implementations.
- Deliver training, documentation, and support to maximize user adoption.
- Oversee data management, cleansing, deduplication and integrity checks.
- Manage digital projects, including scope, timelines, resources, and subcontractor work.
- Proactively recommend and implement process and platform advancements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Configure Salesforce (fields, page layouts, record types, custom objects, validation rules, Flows).
2. Maintain security settings, sharing rules, and permission sets.
3. Integrate Salesforce with external systems and commercial digital tools.
4. Conduct data governance: cleansing, deduplication, reporting, and monitoring.
5. Produce and update user guides, change documentation, and training materials.
6. Execute and support commercial digital initiatives and integrations.
7. Lead and coordinate subcontractor development activities.
8. Provide day‑to‑day user support and resolve technical issues.
9. Participate in project management activities (planning, status reporting, risk mitigation).
Required Skills
- Salesforce.com Administrator Certified.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience administering Salesforce in a global company.
- Proficient with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (advantage), and Salesforce Communities.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Flows, validation rules, page layouts, and custom objects.
- Ability to translate complex commercial business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with a service‑oriented, team‑player attitude.
- High self‑learning capability and adaptability to evolving platform features.
- Bonus: Apex knowledge, Service Cloud experience, Power BI familiarity.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator.
