Job Description
Job Title: Strategic & Innovation Consulting Internship Role Summary A 6‑month internship for a current engineering or business school student to support enterprise‑scale innovation and open‑innovation initiatives. The intern partners with senior managers, accelerator startups, and corporate clients to scout, evaluate, and nurture high‑potential projects across sectors such as urban development, energy, industry, and environmental technology. Expectations - Minimum 6‑month commitment as part of an internship program. - Undergraduate or master’s student in engineering, business, or related fields. - Strong motivation for entrepreneurship, innovation, and market analysis. - Proficient in English (written and spoken) and French is advantageous. - Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high‑quality analyses. Key Responsibilities - Source and screen startup applications (business plans, project viability). - Conduct face‑to‑face meetings and support founders through accelerator processes. - Coordinate open‑innovation events for partners and clients. - Perform technical assessments of innovative solutions. - Conduct technology and market scouting to inform strategic decisions. - Interview technical innovators to capture emerging trends. - Execute client‑specific advisory tasks: strategic analyses, market studies, portfolio reviews, innovation‑process redesign, and pricing strategy, covering corporate venture, open‑innovation, and intrapreneurship projects. Required Skills - Analytical mindset with rigorous problem‑solving skills. - Strong written and oral communication, including English and French. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. - Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence in stakeholder engagement. - Self‑starter with high responsiveness and organizational discipline. Required Education & Certifications - Enrolled in an engineering or business school (undergraduate or graduate). - No formal certifications required; relevant coursework in innovation, strategy, or entrepreneurship is a plus.
