Job Title: Junior Developer
Role Summary: Part‑time, temporary developer focused on building, testing, and maintaining a live healthcare mobile application. Works with cross‑functional teams to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and enhance user experience.
Expactations: Commit 3‑10 hours per week, flexible schedule. Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and stakeholder meetings as needed. Produce clean, secure code and maintain documentation.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and refine front‑end and/or back‑end components (JavaScript/React Native, Swift/Kotlin, or similar). • Build, test, and deploy releases to Apple/Android platforms. • Identify, debug, and resolve bugs and performance problems. • Translate clinical and operational requirements into technical solutions. • Write basic technical specifications, release notes, and support UI/UX improvements. • Follow data security, privacy, and compliance standards for healthcare environments.
Required Skills: • Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin). • Experience with mobile/web frameworks (React Native, Expo, SwiftUI, Android SDK). • Understanding of APIs, databases, and cloud services (e.g., Firebase, Supabase, AppWrite). • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles. • Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly. • Excellent communication and teamwork in an agile setting.
Required Education & Certifications: • Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field. • 0‑2 years of mobile app development experience (internship, project, or portfolio).
