Job Description
Job Title: Privacy Analyst Role Summary: Evaluates data practices, conducts privacy impact assessments, and advises on compliance with privacy regulations to protect client information. Expactations: Deliver accurate assessments, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of applicable privacy laws, collaborate cross‑functionally, and support incident response and data governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct privacy impact assessments and audits for regulatory and internal compliance. - Review, analyze, and document privacy-related activities (PIAs, PTAs). - Partner with business and technology teams to embed privacy into processes and solutions. - Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs. - Monitor regulatory changes (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.) and advise on implications. - Assist in managing privacy incidents, investigations, and remediation plans. - Support the creation and implementation of data governance frameworks. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex privacy concepts clearly. - Detail‑oriented with proven organizational skills to manage multiple projects. - Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and U.S. government data privacy requirements. - Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Information Security, or related field. - 2–4 years of experience supporting U.S. government clients. - Additional certifications such as CIPP or CIPM preferred. - U.S. citizenship required to meet security clearance eligibility.
