Job Title: Manager, Supply Planning
Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end supply planning activities—including procurement, inventory, production scheduling, and logistics—to deliver products on time and at optimal cost while supporting business growth. Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Production, Finance, and external partners to align supply‑chain plans with demand and strategic objectives.
Expectations: • 5+ years in supply planning, demand planning, or related supply‑chain roles.
• 2+ years of experience managing planning processes or teams.
• Proven track record in consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, or perishable‑goods environments, handling seasonality, promotions, and new‑product launches with minimal service disruptions.
• Strong analytical mindset, proficiency with ERP systems (Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, Excel), and capability to develop and monitor KPIs.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage procurement, inventory control, production scheduling, and logistics to ensure on‑time, accurate fulfillment.
• Forecast demand, plan replenishment, and maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
• Build and nurture supplier, manufacturer, and logistics partner relationships to guarantee product availability.
• Analyze supply‑chain performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement continuous‑optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate production schedules with customer demand and supply‑chain priorities.
• Advise senior leadership on supply‑chain status, risk mitigation, and cost‑saving strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards, and sustainability goals.
• Develop and manage KPIs to track effectiveness and performance.
Required Skills: • Advanced demand‑planning and inventory‑management expertise.
• Leadership skills – experience directing planning teams or processes.
• Proficiency with ERP/SCM software (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and trend‑identification capabilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive execution.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and sustainability practices.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred; not strictly required). • Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent are advantageous.
