**Job Title:** Salesforce Lightning Developer
**Role Summary:**
A senior Salesforce Lightning Developer responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce solutions across retail and investment management domains for global banking clients. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring robust integration with third‑party platforms and internal core systems.
**Expectations:**
- 8–10 years of professional experience in Salesforce development, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end Lightning applications, including custom components, Apex logic, and UI enhancements.
- Strong capability to prototype quickly, iterate on solutions, and deliver high‑quality code under Agile practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system stability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Translate regional and global business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions using Salesforce Lightning, Aura, and Web Components.
- Develop custom Apex triggers, classes, batch jobs, and integrations (REST/SOAP) with third‑party vendors and internal systems.
- Create and maintain dynamic reports, dashboards, and workflow automations to support business analytics and process efficiencies.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment pipelines; ensure adherence to DevOps best practices (Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD).
- Prototype and validate new features, ensuring alignment with product vision and user experience.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to refine requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the global team.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Lightning Platform (Lightning Components, Aura, LWC).
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, and SOQL querying.
- Hands‑on experience with API integration, RESTful services, and middleware.
- Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps tools: Salesforce DX, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience writing comprehensive Apex test classes and ensuring code coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II certification (preferred).
- Additional Salesforce certifications (Lightning Platform, Financial Services Cloud) desirable for financial industry experience.
