Job Description

Job Title: Investment Management Intern Role Summary: Internship program providing 10‑week, hands‑on experience in investment management, focusing on portfolio support, trade analysis, financial modeling, and client reporting within a global investment firm. Expectations: - Complete internship from June 1 – August 7 2026. - Demonstrate strong attention to detail, prioritization, and punctuality. - Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with portfolio and credit research teams. - Uphold compliance standards, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and internal controls. Key Responsibilities: - Support special projects assigned by Portfolio Management and Credit Research. - Identify and develop process‑improvement solutions for investment operations. - Provide client‐facing and internal reporting for portfolio teams. - Build and analyze trade models; assist in the preliminary vetting of asset transactions. - Apply quantitative tools to assess portfolio needs and opportunities. - Research regulatory requirements and comply with disclosure obligations. - Distribute scheduled investment materials (daily, weekly, monthly) to clients. - Conduct detailed research on mergers and acquisitions relevant to portfolio strategy. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and VBA programming. - Basic Bloomberg market data and analytics experience. - API integration knowledge is an asset. - Strong organizational and communication abilities. - Analytical, detail‑oriented, and highly punctual. - Capacity to work independently and as part of a team. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Investment Management, Finance, Economics, or Business Management. - No specific certifications required; certifications in Excel, Bloomberg, or VBA are advantageous.
