**Job Title:** Head of Human Resources
**Role Summary:**
Lead the global People function for a media & entertainment company operating in the U.S. and LATAM. Drive operational excellence, compliance, talent strategy, and employee experience. Partner with senior leadership, CFO, and legal to align HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring consistent high‑quality HR practices across multiple countries.
**Expectations:**
* Deliver a fully integrated HR organization capable of supporting rapid growth across U.S. and Mexican markets.
* Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws, policies, and standards.
* Provide data‑driven insights to inform strategic decisions on headcount, retention, compensation, and workforce planning.
* Foster a culture of trust, performance, and well‑being through effective programs and clear communication.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **HR Operations & Compliance** – Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, HRIS, compensation & benefits, performance management, and employee relations. Maintain HR systems, dashboards, and ensure data accuracy through regular audits.
2. **Budget & Strategic Planning** – Manage annual FP&A for the HR team, partner with CFO on budgeting, workforce forecasting, and payroll oversight.
3. **Legal & Policy Management** – Coordinate with internal legal counsel, external advisors, and Finance to ensure compliance with employment legislation, audits, and policy governance across all locations. Create and update global policies and country‑specific adaptations.
4. **Business Partnership & Talent Management** – Collaborate with Global President and senior leaders on workforce structure, staffing plans, and organizational effectiveness. Drive recruitment, succession planning, and performance management strategies.
5. **Benefits & Compensation** – Design and execute competitive compensation and benefits plans for U.S. and Mexico, conduct market analysis, ensure pay equity, and oversee annual review and promotion processes.
6. **Employee Experience & Culture** – Champion compliance‑aligned policies that reflect company values. Lead engagement, development, and recognition initiatives to promote a high‑performance culture.
**Required Skills:**
* Strategic HR leadership with experience in global operations across U.S. and LATAM.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and best HR practices for diverse markets.
* Expertise in HRIS, performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, and analytics.
* Budgeting and financial acumen, including headcount, payroll, and benefits budgeting.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to drive process improvement and cultural change in a fast‑growth environment.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* HR professional certification (SHRM‑SP, SHRM‑PM, HRCI, or equivalent).
* Additional certification in Compensation & Benefits or Employment Law is a plus.
