Job Description
Job Title: UK-based Clinical Trial Freelancer Role Summary: Provide remote site support for clinical trials by identifying, screening, and enrolling qualified participants. Engage with candidates, site staff, and stakeholders to coordinate visits, manage recruitment materials, and report performance data. Operate independently while ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Expactations: - Work 17 hours per month on a freelance basis, invoicing independently. - Deliver accurate time‑tracking and weekly performance reports. - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable regulations (IRB, GCP, ICH, HIPAA). - Communicate fluently in the local/native language of the assignment country. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct phone, email, and text interviews to assess candidate eligibility, interest, and availability. - Coordinate participant scheduling and site visits, communicating status updates to site personnel. - Maintain regular contact via Microsoft Teams and email, responding promptly to inquiries. - Build and sustain relationships with site staff, physicians, and community groups to support recruitment and retention. - Develop, review, and deliver recruitment materials and presentations to site teams and stakeholders. - Monitor recruitment metrics, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies. - Capture all activity in real‑time reporting systems and provide scheduled updates to management. Required Skills: - Strong verbal and written communication; customer‑service orientation. - Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. - Familiarity with clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and enrollment methodologies. - Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, email, and data‑entry systems. - Detail‑oriented, proactive risk identification, and problem‑solving skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience). - Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with clinical trial sites, physicians, or patient populations. - Clinical Trial Coordinator experience preferred but not mandatory.
