The position is part of a structured two‑year graduate development programme, providing technical training, leadership coaching and support toward professional accreditation. **Expectations** - Complete the 2‑year graduate programme, gaining technical knowledge, leadership capability and industry awareness. - Progress toward professional body accreditation (CIOB, RICS or equivalent). - Build experience on complex, high‑profile construction and heritage refurbishment projects. - Demonstrate continuous learning, proactive problem‑solving and creative contribution to project outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist in design coordination for all project phases, ensuring accurate and timely information flow. - Manage design change processes, liaising with consultants and specialist subcontractors. - Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Building Regulations and company procedures. - Maintain documentation and workflow using the Viewpoint for Projects system. - Participate in value‑engineering sessions to identify cost and performance improvement opportunities. - Engage stakeholders to align design intent with project objectives. **Required Skills** - Strong understanding of design coordination in construction or related domains. - Knowledge of CDM regulations and Building Regulations. - Proficient with document control platforms (e.g., Viewpoint). - Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills. - Analytical mindset with creative problem‑solving ability. - Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Management or related design discipline. - Professional development pathway in progress (e.g., CIOB, RICS). - Full driving licence is desirable.

Job Description
Job Title: Graduate Quantity Surveyor Role Summary: Entry‑level quantity surveying graduate in a structured 2‑year development programme. Reports to Senior Quantity Surveyor, gaining experience on complex, high‑profile construction projects while progressing toward chartered status. Expectations: - Complete the graduate programme within the stipulated time. - Demonstrate problem‑solving aptitude and a willingness to tackle challenging tasks. - Maintain a professional attitude and adhere to ethical standards of the quantity surveying profession. Key Responsibilities: - Support commercial management of construction projects (cost planning, cost control, risk assessment). - Prepare and analyse quantity take‑offs, cost reports and variance analyses. - Assist in procurement processes and contract administration. - Participate in site visits to monitor progress and quality. - Collaborate with Design, Construction, and Project Management teams to optimise costs and schedules. - Contribute to the preparation of bids, RFIs, and change orders. - Support the development of commercial case studies and market research reports.
