Job Description: **Job Title**: Cloud Engineer **Role Summary**: Design, implement, and support secure, scalable Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Collaborate with development teams to align cloud architecture with application delivery, automate deployments with IaC, optimize costs, enforce governance, and troubleshoot complex issues. **Expectations**: - Minimum 5 years of professional Azure experience. - Proven Azure Administrator certifications (Associate preferred). - Strong IaC proficiency, primarily Terraform. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and full SDLC. - Excellent communication and proactive improvement mindset. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design and maintain Azure blueprints covering governance, security, and compliance. - Advise on scalability, high availability, and cost‑optimization practices. - Develop, test, and deploy infrastructure using Terraform. - Translate architectural decisions into actionable delivery plans. - Integrate new Azure services and keep the environment up‑to‑date. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents. - Document design principles, technical guidelines, and best practices. **Required Skills**: - Azure platform architecture, networking, identity, and security. - Terraform scripting, state management, and module creation. - CI/CD pipeline design (GitHub Actions or equivalent). - Strong scripting (PowerShell, Bash). - Problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder communication. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (mandatory). - Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Developer certifications are a plus.
