**Job Title:** Cloud Security Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead customer engagements to identify, prioritize, and remediate cloud security risks across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Collaborate with internal engineering, develop and maintain remediation playbooks, and disseminate technical insights through community channels.
**Expectations:**
* Operate independently in a highly collaborative environment.
* Manage end-to-end stakeholder interactions, including status meetings and escalation of blockers.
* Deliver actionable remediation plans and drive execution with client teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Collect and analyze security alerts, combining automation and manual investigation to triage vulnerabilities.
* Conduct on‑site remediation with client teams, ensuring effective mitigation of identified risks.
* Create, update, and maintain playbooks, runbooks, and best‑practice documentation.
* Produce thought leadership content (blog posts, whitepapers) to share knowledge with the broader community.
* Work with engineering to improve service tooling, speed, and quality.
* Facilitate stakeholder communications: status reports, meetings, escalation procedures.
**Required Skills:**
* Deployment, configuration, and hardening of resources in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Experience with vulnerability management and securing containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Proficiency in using CSPM/CNAPP tools (e.g., Wiz, Prisma, CloudGuard, Lacework).
* Scripting and command‑line expertise using a modern high‑level language (Python preferred).
* Strong verbal and written communication in English; ability to influence client decisions and advocate security best practices.
* Knowledge of CI/CD build patterns, common misconfigurations, and mitigation strategies for at least one cloud platform; broader knowledge across two or more platforms is a plus.
* Ability to deploy and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure via console, IaC, CLI, or SDK.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer) are advantageous but not mandatory.
