Job title: DevOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Drive the secure, reliable, and scalable delivery of a cloud‑native SaaS platform. Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to embed security, compliance, and automation throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Expectations:
Deliver robust, automated CI/CD pipelines; maintain AWS infrastructure and security controls; respond to incidents; continuously improve automation and reliability; support rapid, secure product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain AWS‑based SaaS platform (EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda).
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Implement and enforce security controls aligned with SOC 2, ISO, and other compliance frameworks.
- Participate in incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Identify and execute automation and reliability improvements across infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering, preferably in a SaaS/cloud‑native context.
- Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda) and AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Inspector, Config, CloudTrail).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash).
- Expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practices and secure software development.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO, etc.).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar) are a plus.
