Job Description: Job Title: Marketing & Business Development Intern Role Summary: Support the launch of a multi‑currency, multi‑language craft marketplace by driving vendor acquisition, creating engaging social media and written content, and executing a growth strategy to boost brand awareness. Expectations: Act as a key contributor to the marketplace’s early growth, independently sourcing and onboarding artisans and designers, producing storytelling content, and implementing measurable social media growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Vendor Acquisition • Prospect and recruit independent artisans, designers, and boutique owners both offline and online. • Negotiate terms, complete contractual agreements, and onboard vendors with training on marketplace tools. 2. Content Creation • Write storytelling scripts and produce engaging visual content (stories, carousels, product listings). • Publish SEO‑optimized blog articles that highlight vendor products and heritage. 3. Growth Strategy • Define and implement a growth plan to increase brand visibility on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms. • Track performance metrics and adjust tactics to meet growth objectives. Required Skills: • Strong research, synthesis, and communication abilities. • Proficiency in French and English (additional languages a plus). • Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and digital marketing tools. • Autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills. • Passion for handcrafted and artisanal products. Required Education & Certifications: • Master’s degree (M1 or M2) in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or related field. • No additional certifications required.
