Manager, Enterprise Apps – Workday Architect
Role Summary:
Lead the Business Applications team to design, maintain, and optimize the enterprise HR platform, primarily Workday. Serve as the primary link among IT, HRIS, and HR stakeholders, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, and compliance standards while driving continuous improvement of HR systems.
Expactations:
- 7+ years of hands‑on HR application experience, chiefly Workday.
- Strong grasp of core HR processes (Core HR, Recruiting, Performance, Learning, Compensation, Payroll).
- Proven project management, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring capability.
- Expertise in Workday integrations with ERP (SAP), payroll, and identity management.
- Working knowledge of security roles, SOX/GDPR, and data governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and sustain Workday and related HR systems, ensuring adherence to IT standards.
- Configure, test, and deploy all Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Learning, etc.).
- Design, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations with downstream systems (SAP, Finance, Payroll, Identity Management).
- Oversee HR data governance, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics for business insight.
- Lead Workday support, helpdesk, and enhancement requests; mentor junior HRIS staff.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance to deliver technology solutions that meet business goals.
Required Skills:
- Workday Studio, EIB, Report Writer proficiency.
- Integration architecture (Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Integrations).
- Project management and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication abilities.
- Security, data governance, and compliance knowledge (SOX, GDPR).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or Business Management (Master’s preferred).
- Workday Professional certification(s) in HCM, Compensation, Reporting, Integrations (preferred).
