**Job title**: Senior Hardware Engineering Manager **Role Summary** Lead and grow a high‑performance hardware engineering team to design, architect, and deliver world‑class lighting and control products. Oversee cross‑functional collaboration with software, manufacturing, and design teams, mentor engineers, and uphold rigorous quality and process standards. **Expectations** - Deliver scalable, cost‑effective product architecture that meets market and performance requirements. - Drive continuous improvement of design processes, testing, and manufacturing readiness. - Grow and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. - Partner with senior leadership to shape strategic direction of the hardware engineering function. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead cross‑functional product teams (hardware, software, manufacturing) through concept to launch. - Architect maintainable and elegant chassis and system solutions for advanced lighting products. - Mentor and coach engineers, facilitating professional growth and knowledge sharing. - Enforce high quality through design reviews, testing practices, and documentation standards. - Manage engineering budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. - Identify and implement process improvements that reduce cost and cycle time. **Required Skills** - Proven team leadership and people management in hardware engineering. - Deep technical expertise in at least one of: analog/power electronics, embedded hardware/software development, or mechanical engineering. - Experience designing high‑volume production‑ready hardware architectures. - Strong process improvement, quality assurance, and test‑driven design capabilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering. - Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0. - ≥10 years of relevant industry experience, with a record of technical depth and engineering leadership.
