Job Description
Job Title: Senior Web Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain high‑availability .NET web applications, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑quality code aligned with stakeholder requirements. Expectations: Deliver clean, maintainable solutions; lead architectural discussions; mentor junior developers; enforce coding standards; stay current with evolving .NET technologies; contribute to continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement ASP.NET Core/ MVC web applications with performance and security in mind. - Design RESTful services, data models, and SQL Server schemas using Entity Framework/Core. - Write unit, integration, and automated UI tests; participate in code reviews and test plan development. - Collaborate with product, QA, and infrastructure teams to define requirements, prioritize backlog items, and ensure timely delivery. - Deploy and support applications on Azure or equivalent platforms, managing CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, etc.). - Troubleshoot production issues, conduct post‑incident reviews, and maintain comprehensive documentation. - Mentor and coach junior developers; promote best practices and knowledge sharing. - Maintain project documentation, architecture diagrams, and release notes. Required Skills: - 5+ years of senior .NET development experience (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API). - Strong object‑oriented design and architectural abilities. - Proficiency in Entity Framework/Core, SQL Server, LINQ, and database optimization. - Front‑end skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and a modern framework such as Angular or React) desirable. - Experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred. - Familiarity with Azure services, authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect) preferred. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or comparable .NET certification preferred. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a Moderate‑Risk Public Trust Background Check.
