Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Solutions Engineer **Role Summary:** Provide pre‑sales technical leadership for SAP‑centric software and managed services. Drive customer discovery, solution design, and value communication to enable sales success across SAP, Data, AI, and Cloud offerings. **Expectations:** * Deliver high‑impact pre‑sales support in a fast‑moving, enterprise‑focused environment. * Build and maintain strong relationships with SAP account teams, AEs, partners, and customers. * Mentor junior pre‑sales staff and contribute to scalable pre‑sales processes. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Collaborate with sales to achieve goals for advisory, professional services, and managed services. 2. Lead technical discovery, solution design, and presentations for software and services opportunities. 3. Articulate business value to CIOs, IT leaders, and SAP operations stakeholders. 4. Guide customers through evaluation, connecting priorities to capabilities. 5. Own RFI/RFP responses, ensuring clear value and differentiation. 6. Architect solutions with PMO and delivery teams. 7. Partner with advisory team on assessments, workshops, and strategic engagements. 8. Maintain SAP ecosystem expertise (cloud transformation, security, operational models). 9. Engage with SAP account teams, AEs, and partners to navigate ecosystem opportunities. 10. Contribute to marketing collateral, thought‑leadership content, and event representation. 11. Monitor SAP trends, gather customer feedback, and support product roadmap discussions. 12. Mentor and develop junior pre‑sales administrators. **Required Skills:** * 7+ years in pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting within the SAP ecosystem. * Deep knowledge of SAP Basis, security, cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP), BTP, BDC, and RISE/GROW ERP. * Proven ability to lead technical conversations and position business outcomes. * Strong communication skills with executive‑level audiences. * Experience selling both enterprise software and managed/services offerings. * Ability to thrive in evolving product and customer environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * SAP certifications relevant to P.E. Sell and sales motions (preferred). ---
