**Job Title:** Packaging Engineer **Role Summary** Develop and optimize innovative packaging solutions for cosmetic products. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical and aesthetic requirements align with production, regulatory, and sustainability standards. Drive eco-design initiatives to integrate recyclability and responsible materials. **Expectations** Engineer packaging projects from concept to industrialization, test new materials, and source suppliers. Provide technical expertise to meet product specifications and market demands while maintaining compliance with international regulations. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead development of packaging for cosmetic products, coordinating with project management, R&D, quality, and production teams. - Optimize technical and aesthetic design choices for functionality and market appeal. - Validate packaging performance through industrial testing and alignment with regulatory requirements. - Conduct trials with new materials and formats in production settings. - Identify and qualify new packaging suppliers to expand client offerings. - Advance eco-design strategies by reducing material usage, enhancing recyclability, and sourcing sustainable materials. **Required Skills** - Project management and organizational rigor for concurrent projects. - Autonomous problem-solving and proactive proposal-making. - Strong collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teams. - Technical proficiency in packaging systems and material science. **Required Education & Certifications** - Engineering degree in packaging, materials science, or equivalent (e.g., ESIEC, ESEPAC, ESCOM, ISIPCA). - Proven experience or recent graduate with passion for innovation and sustainability in packaging.
