Job Description
Job Title: Graduate Engineer (Development Infrastructure) Role Summary: Support multi-disciplinary consultancy teams in delivering civil infrastructure engineering services for development and regeneration projects, focusing on transport, urbanization, and associated civil engineering solutions. Expactations: - Work in a supervised environment to produce technically accurate work within agreed timelines. - Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver projects under leadership supervision. - Demonstrate initiative in task execution while adhering to company safety and management systems. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with design and analysis of highways, sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), earthworks, and site levels. - Contribute to land regeneration and remediation projects, including ground modeling and geotechnical assessments. - Support engineering teams on development infrastructure projects across energy, logistics, and data storage sectors. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint). - Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and proactive, hands-on approach to engineering challenges. - Ability to work collaboratively in team-focused environments and independently under supervision. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering accredited by the UK Engineering Council, qualifying for Incorporated Engineer status. - ≤12 months of relevant work experience (placements excluded). - Eligibility to work in the UK without employment restrictions.
