Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer I Role Summary: Full‑stack engineer on the Advertising Applications team building and maintaining React‑based web applications and Java/Spring APIs used across the company. Expectations: • Ship production‑ready code with minimal guidance. • Own scoped tasks and contribute to project‑level initiatives. • Collaborate with product managers, QA, designers, and DevOps. • Participate in code reviews, test implementation, and debugging. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and maintain new features for React web applications. 2. Create and extend backend functionality using Java/Spring, including RESTful APIs. 3. Conduct unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing; ensure cross‑browser compatibility. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve user‑reported issues. 5. Contribute to deployment pipelines and release processes. 6. Mentor and pair with peers; share knowledge through internal communication. 7. Build new applications from the ground up as needed. Required Skills: • 1–2+ years of software engineering experience, including JavaScript. • 1+ year experience with React and Java. • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript. • Familiarity with Redux, Webpack, and responsive design. • Experience using Git and command‑line tools. • Knowledge of SQL and RESTful API concepts. • Understanding of deployment pipelines and release processes. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred; not mandatory).
