Job Description
Job title: Summer Student Program 2026 Role Summary: 3‑month internship in industrial operations, offering hands‑on experience in engineering, supply chain, and business functions. Trainees receive structured training, mentorship, and cross‑functional project work. Expactations: • Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program with at least one year of post‑secondary education finished. • Availability from May/June to August 2026 with intent to continue studies in the fall. • Commitment to safety, teamwork, analytical problem solving, and proactive learning. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in projects across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Business/Health‑Safety areas. • Collect and analyze data, recommend improvements, and support process optimization. • Attend training sessions, maintain project documentation, and present progress to mentors. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable results. • Follow all health and safety protocols in all activities. Required Skills: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Effective written and verbal communication. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Team‑orientated collaboration and independent initiative. • Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus. • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards. Required Education & Certifications: • Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science program: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Health Safety & Environment, Human Resources, Accounting, or related business majors. • Minimum of one year of post‑secondary education completed. • Expected to graduate after program completion (April 2026 or later). • No specific certifications required.
