Job title: Research and Strategy Manager
Role Summary: Head strategic research and insight activities to drive onboard product innovation, cost justification, and market positioning for a premium travel operator.
Expectations: Deliver rigorous market intelligence, financial models, and actionable recommendations that align with long‑term vision and commercial goals; collaborate with senior leadership, develop business cases, and influence product roadmap decisions; lead process improvements, AI analytics, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead voice‑of‑customer, competitive benchmarking, and macro‑environmental studies for product innovation.
• Translate qualitative & quantitative data into strategic recommendations and structured business cases.
• Collaborate with SVP/VP teams on product planning, cost justification, opportunity prioritisation across cabins, IFE, seating, and services.
• Build financial models and ROI analyses to support investment decisions and roadmap planning.
• Monitor aviation, hospitality, luxury travel, and lifestyle trends to inform product direction.
• Design and maintain structured market & trend analysis frameworks; oversee passenger research projects.
• Drive SOP development, KPI design, and process efficiency initiatives (Lean Six Sigma).
• Maintain competitor intelligence dashboards and insight platforms.
• Deploy AI tools and large‑scale data analytics for deeper insight extraction.
• Prepare high‑impact presentations, dashboards, and reports for executive stakeholders.
• Contribute to customer experience transformation projects through structured insights.
Required Skills
• 7+ years strategy, product insights, research, or consulting experience, preferably in aviation, travel, hospitality or luxury sectors.
• Advanced analytical, financial modelling, and business case development capabilities.
• Expertise in customer & competitor intelligence, global consumer behaviour analysis.
• Strong data storytelling for senior audiences.
• Leadership in process improvement (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint (dashboarding/reporting).
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills; ability to influence through high‑impact presentations.
• Experience with AI analytics, large‑scale data platforms.
• Willingness to relocate to Qatar.
Required Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, Aviation, Economics, Marketing or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (preferred).
