Job Description

**Job Title:** Cybersecurity Instructor (Cisco Focus) **Role Summary:** Deliver Cisco Cybersecurity training (essentials, Linux, Cyber Ops, CCNA Cyber Ops) in a structured classroom environment. Foster student motivation, maintain classroom discipline, manage student records, and support career placement. **Expectations:** - Teach and administer cybersecurity curriculum aligned with state and industry standards. - Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and equipment accountability. - Facilitate internships, certifications, and career transition support. - Complete administrative tasks including attendance, evaluations, and reporting. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Design and deliver lesson plans for Cisco Cyber Ops and CCNA Cyber Ops. 2. Monitor student progress, provide evaluations, and maintain documentation. 3. Coordinate internships and work-based learning with external partners. 4. Administer student certifications and fitness/demonstration training. 5. Collaborate with Career Transition Services for job placement. 6. Perform quarterly inventories and manage classroom resources. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in Cisco Cybersecurity Essentials, Linux, and CCNA Cyber Ops. - Strong verbal/written communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. - CPR/First Aid certification; ability to motivate students and build rapport. **Required Education & Certifications:** - State certification, licensing, or accreditation in relevant trade. - Minimum: Practical expertise in cybersecurity if not certified. - Preferred: 1+ year teaching experience with disadvantaged youth; Industry Advisory Council participation. - CPR/First Aid certification mandatory.
