Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Financial Analyst **Role Summary** Provide advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision‑making. Work closely with department managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure financial plans align with organizational goals, identify growth opportunities, and maintain financial integrity. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely financial insights that influence executive strategy. - Maintain high standards of data quality, analytical rigor, and compliance with internal controls. - Communicate findings clearly to non‑finance stakeholders and support decision‑making processes. **Key Responsibilities** - Coordinate and prepare departmental forecast and budget analyses in partnership with budget managers. - Develop financial models for season planning and multi‑year forecasts. - Track performance against budgets; perform variance analysis and provide commentary. - Produce monthly operating statements, external statistical reports, and grant compliance reports. - Administer and support the FP&A system; maintain chart of accounts and ensure alignment with ERP. - Assist in month‑end close processes and periodic budget reviews. - Provide user support and training for FP&A system stakeholders. - Identify financial trends and risks; recommend mitigation actions to leadership. **Required Skills** - Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. - Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with FP&A/ERP systems. - Ability to interpret financial statements and explain complex financial information to non‑finance audiences. - Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and data integrity. - Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Knowledge of grant reporting and compliance with agency requirements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or FP&A. - Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) are preferred but not mandatory.
