Job title: AWS DevOps Engineer
Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise and eCommerce platforms, ensuring high availability and continuous delivery.
Expactations: 4–6 years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience; proven AWS experience; strong automation, IaC, CI/CD skills; excellent communication and collaboration; AWS Certifications preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize AWS environments (EC2, load balancers, networking, IAM).
- Provision, configure, and monitor EC2 instances and associated services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor performance with CloudWatch and tune systems for latency, throughput, and cost.
- Implement automation for scaling, backup, disaster recovery, and patching.
- Enforce security and compliance practices, including IAM, network segmentation, and environment hardening.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and project teams to plan and execute releases.
- Evaluate and adopt new AWS services and tooling to improve efficiency and cost.
- Provide proactive support and resolve internal/external incidents promptly.
- Participate in ongoing learning and knowledge sharing to stay current with AWS innovations.
Required Skills:
- 4–6 yrs DevOps or Cloud Ops in AWS.
- Deep knowledge of EC2, VPC, ELB, ASG, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
- Strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- IaC expertise: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Network and load balancing design, security hardening, and patch management.
- Experience with multi‑tier web, middleware, and data layers.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross‑functional teamwork.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- AWS Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional (highly preferred).
