Job Description
**Job Title** Business Analyst / Project Manager (12‑month contract) **Role Summary** Hybrid BA/PM responsible for translating business needs into agile‑driven technology solutions, leading project delivery from inception through deployment and post‑implementation support, and acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality requirements artifacts and project outcomes on schedule. - Maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders and leadership. - Manage project risks, changes, and issues to ensure successful release and operationalization. - Demonstrate rapid learning of domain processes, data models, and emerging technologies. **Key Responsibilities** - Partner with business and IT to design and implement functional and technical solutions. - Elicit, document, and prioritize requirements using user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement. - Conduct business process analysis, workflow modeling, and gap analysis. - Facilitate solution design sessions, clarify requirements, and identify dependencies/risks. - Coordinate development, QA, and UAT activities; ensure test coverage and defect resolution. - Produce and maintain project plans, status reports, and schedules. - Create process flow diagrams, user journeys, and future‑state recommendations. - Perform ad‑hoc reporting and data analysis using SQL and Power BI. - Support post‑production monitoring, training, and documentation. **Required Skills** - Strong business analysis techniques (SWOT, root‑cause, stakeholder analysis). - Proven Agile/SCRUM experience; familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools. - Ability to write clear user stories, functional/non‑functional specs, and acceptance criteria. - Understanding of SDLC, iterative release management, and backlog grooming. - Knowledge of relational databases, data quality concepts, and basic coding patterns. - Basic awareness of machine learning/AI concepts. - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship‑building abilities. - High analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving aptitude with attention to detail. - Self‑starter with strong accountability and adaptability to changing priorities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or combined BA/Project Manager role. - Agile/SCRUM certification (e.g., CSM, PMI‑ACP) preferred but not mandatory.
