Job Description
**Job Title** Human Resources Assistant (Internship) **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end administrative support to the HR team, focusing on recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, personnel file management, contract drafting, and employee training coordination. Act as a liaison between employees, training providers, and HR management, ensuring compliance, documentation accuracy, and smooth execution of HR initiatives. **Expectations** - 6‑month internship period. - Hybrid working arrangement. - Work closely with the HR Manager and a small HR team. - Develop foundational HR knowledge while contributing to day‑to‑day operations and improvement projects. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Personnel Administration** - Create, update, and maintain employee administrative files. - Ensure regulatory compliance and timely updates of records. - Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes for employees, interns, and apprentices. - Administer employee life‑cycle events: leave, illness, mobility, probation, contract renewals. - Update employee data in HR information systems. - Draft employment contracts, amendments, and official correspondence. 2. **Employee Training** - Serve as liaison between staff and internal/external training providers. - Coordinate training logistics: invitations, scheduling, room booking, evaluation collection. - Manage internship and apprenticeship agreements. 3. **HR Projects & Communications** - Contribute to internal and external HR communications initiatives. - Monitor HR news and developments to support continuous improvement. - Participate in local process and policy enhancement projects. **Required Skills** - Strong administrative and organizational abilities. - Attention to detail and meticulous record‑keeping. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR information systems. - Proactive, dynamic, and curious mindset with teamwork orientation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current Master's student in Human Resources Management (Year 1 or 2). - Prior internship experience in an HR role preferred. - No specific certifications required.
