Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Enterprise Architect **Role Summary:** Architect responsible for designing, maintaining, and governing the enterprise architecture within a global cyber‑security organization. The role aligns IT strategy with business objectives, drives large‑scale transformation, modernises legacy systems, and ensures architectural compliance and risk mitigation. **Expectations:** - Deliver strategic architectural vision that aligns with business goals. - Guide transformation initiatives, including application rationalisation and cloud migration. - Ensure architecture governance, compliance, and cost‑effective solutions across multiple regions. - Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Identify, assess, and mitigate architectural risks and emerging technology opportunities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, and documentation. - Develop current‑state and future‑state architecture models and transition roadmaps. - Establish architecture review boards and enforce compliance with standards. - Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, provide guidance, and communicate architectural decisions. - Oversee solution design alignment with enterprise architecture and provide input to architects and developers. - Evaluate vendor solutions, contracts, and emerging technologies for scalability, security, and cost efficiency. - Lead risk management activities and recommend mitigations for architectural risks. - Promote reuse, standardisation, and simplification of IT assets across the organization. **Required Skills:** *Functional* - Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman). - Business capability and operating model design. - Strategic planning and transformation leadership. - Governance, compliance, and risk management. - Vendor and contract evaluation. *Technical* - Architecture modelling tools (ArchiMate, Sparx EA, Bizzdesign). - Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Integration technologies (APIs, microservices, ESBs). - Data architecture, management, and analytics. - Cybersecurity principles within architecture. *Personal* - Strategic thinker with business‑technical insight. - Influential communicator across diverse audiences. - Collaborative leader across cross‑functional teams. - Analytical problem‑solver and critical thinker. - Resilient, adaptable, and ethical decision‑maker. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - TOGAF® certification (Foundation or Certified) preferred. - Familiarity with cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
