**Job Title:** Enterprise Architect
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, governance, and execution of enterprise architecture to align technology strategy with business transformation objectives for a global client, focusing on digital, data, cloud, and integration initiatives within regulated industries.
**Expectations:**
- 10+ years of enterprise architecture/technology strategy experience, including large‑scale, multi‑year transformation.
- Up to 25% travel; hybrid working model.
- Strong executive‑level stakeholder management and influence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner with executive leaders to translate business strategy into future‑state architecture and phased roadmaps.
- Drive architecture strategy for digital transformation, data modernization, ERP/CRM, cloud migration, and operating‑model change.
- Define and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and reference models.
- Ensure initiatives align with target‑state architecture, managing portfolio planning and prioritization.
- Establish governance models balancing speed, innovation, and regulatory compliance.
- Guide solution architects and delivery teams to maintain consistency with enterprise standards.
- Assess current‑state architecture maturity, technical debt, and risks; recommend mitigation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to enable future capabilities while maintaining compliance.
- Ensure all deliverables meet FDA, EMA, GxP, HIPAA, data privacy, and internal quality requirements.
- Support M&A integration and separation architecture strategies.
- Communicate architectural vision and transformation impact to senior leadership.
**Required Skills:**
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of cloud platform architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML within regulated environments.
- Familiarity with life sciences/healthcare platforms (Veeva, SAP, Salesforce Health Cloud, Oracle).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into technical execution plans.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years enterprise architecture or large‑scale transformation experience.
- TOGAF certification (or equivalent architecture framework certification) is preferred.
