Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Engineer – Front‑end **Role Summary:** Develop and deliver user‑facing features for web and mobile applications using React and React Native. Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to translate user needs into high‑quality, scalable code. Contribute to platform and infrastructure improvements while driving independent problem‑solving and continuous learning. **Expectations:** - Deliver clean, maintainable code with a focus on user experience. - Work autonomously to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive results. - Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms across teams. - Exhibit curiosity about user behavior and challenge assumptions. - Proactively up‑skill and share knowledge with peers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and ship new front‑end features in React (web) and React Native (mobile). - Participate in architecture design, UI/UX implementation, and performance optimization. - Collaborate with founders, product, design, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions. - Contribute to platform stability, tooling, and engineering best practices. - Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure code quality standards. **Required Skills:** - Strong JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+). - Expert‑level proficiency with React and/or React Native. - Experience with modern front‑end tooling (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, CI/CD). - Ability to work independently and manage end‑to‑end feature delivery. - Good problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred *or* equivalent professional experience. - No specific certifications required; demonstrable project or work experience with React/React Native is essential.
