Business Analytics Intern – Summer
**Role Summary**
Full‑time internship focused on supporting the sales and marketing analytics function. Interns will work on AI‑driven Salesforce use cases, data analysis, dashboard creation, and process improvement to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
**Expectations**
- Current enrollment in a 4‑year degree program (Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Business, or related field) at sophomore level or above.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; self‑motivated and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and implement AI‑enhanced use cases within Salesforce (lead targeting, customer segmentation, forecasting).
- Train and support the Sales team on Salesforce tools and AI features to increase adoption and effectiveness.
- Analyze sales and inventory data to identify high‑potential products, under‑penetrated markets, and customer segments.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts, providing insights on growth opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports (Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau) for KPI tracking and performance visualization.
- Refine forecasting models and customer segmentation strategies in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Document and optimize analytics processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and reporting capabilities.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to present insights clearly.
- Interpersonal and relationship‑building skills; teamwork orientation.
- Experience with large dataset handling and basic data cleaning.
- Knowledge of statistical/analytical tools (R, Python, SAS, SPSS) and database/reporting tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Understanding of AI concepts and sales applications.
- Data visualization and dashboard creation skills.
- Knowledge of sales metrics, KPIs, market segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, and proactive problem‑solving.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Enrolled in a four‑year undergraduate program (Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Business, or related field), sophomore level or above.
- Minimum GPA 2.75 / 4.00.
- No additional certifications required, though familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce is preferred.
