Job Title: Analytics Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines and infrastructure that enable data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to access high‑quality, governed datasets. Deliver scalable ETL workflows, data warehousing solutions, and interactive Power BI dashboards.
Expectations:
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (data science, analytics, product, domain experts) to translate business needs into reliable data solutions.
- Apply industry best practices in data governance, security, and MLOps to ensure data integrity and model reliability.
- Continuously optimize data processes for performance, cost, and maintainability across cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage data pipelines, ETL workflows, and automated data cleaning/ transformation processes.
- Design and maintain data models and warehouse architecture (Azure Synapse, Databricks, etc.).
- Build and publish Power BI dashboards and reports for internal and client use.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance controls throughout the data lifecycle.
- Support machine learning initiatives: data preparation, model deployment, versioning, and monitoring.
- Document processes, maintain data catalog, and facilitate knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- SQL (advanced), Python, & R programming for data manipulation and model development.
- Expertise in ETL design, data warehousing, and big‑data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
- Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and connector integration.
- Power BI development – data modeling, DAX, visuals, and performance tuning.
- Machine learning engineering: model lifecycle management, MLOps, versioning, monitoring, familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn.
- Data governance & security: data cataloging, access controls, encryption, compliance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of industry experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data science roles.
- Certifications in cloud services (Azure Data Engineer, AWS Data Analytics, GCP Data Engineer) and/or Power BI are a plus.
