Job Description

**Job Title** Senior Java Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Java‑based solutions that address business challenges and support client‑facing products. Work within a specialist team to innovate new features, improve existing applications, and ensure reliable, scalable delivery of software. **Expectations** - Deliver robust, clean code on schedule while adhering to best practices. - Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and contribute to technical discussions. - Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing. - Uphold high standards for code quality, performance, and security. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop and enhance Java applications using modern frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). - Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with micro‑service architectures. - Write unit, integration, and performance tests; maintain test coverage. - Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Support and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely fixes and root‑cause analysis. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile sprint activities. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in Java (SE/EE) and object‑oriented design. - Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA. - Development of RESTful services and micro‑services architecture. - Solid SQL/relational database knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). - Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Version control using Git. - Agile/Scrum methodology experience. - Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Preferred: Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE Programmer or comparable Java certification.
