Job Description
**Job title:** Senior Manager Data & AI Strategy **Role Summary:** Lead the growth of a global data and AI consultancy by driving business development, delivering high‑impact data/AI projects, and building a market‑leading expertise portfolio. Act as a strategic partner to C‑suite clients, translate complex technical challenges into actionable solutions, and mentor a high‑performance consulting team. **Expectations:** - Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of data/AI opportunities (lead generation, qualification, proposal, closing). - Establish and nurture C‑level relationships, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor. - Deliver complex projects with rigor, ensuring client satisfaction and measurable business outcomes. - Shape and industrialise the firm’s data/AI assets, frameworks, and service offering. - Drive internal culture change: processes, tools, knowledge sharing, and team development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop new business: prospect identification, needs assessment, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing. - Convert data/AI problems into proprietary, high‑value offerings and articulate value propositions. - Lead multiple concurrent data/AI engagements: structure problems, conduct robust analysis, recommend strategy, produce executive‑grade presentations and deliverables. - Manage risk, ensure quality delivery, and maintain client satisfaction. - Coordinate and challenge cross‑functional experts (data scientists, AI specialists, change managers). - Author thought‑leadership content (articles, frameworks, case studies) to reinforce market positioning. - Manage, coach, and grow consulting talent; implement best practices, tools, and a unified knowledge base. **Required Skills:** - Proven track record in consulting with demonstrable business‑development success (network, revenue, long‑term client relationships). - Deep knowledge of data fundamentals, AI, and Generative AI concepts. - Strong data strategy, governance, and organizational design acumen. - Experience managing complex data/AI projects, preferably using Agile, Design Thinking, or similar transformation methodologies. - Excellent oral and written communication; ability to simplify technical information for C‑suite audiences. - Leadership presence, team‑building capability, and influence senior stakeholders. - Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (or equivalent). - Fluency in English (written & spoken). - Openness to continuous learning, feedback, and proactive innovation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. - Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile Scrum Master, Data Analytics, or AI/ML are a plus.
