Job Description
**Job Title:** Club Manager **Role Summary:** Oversee day‑to‑day operations of a fitness club, leading staff, ensuring high quality member experience, and driving revenue and compliance targets. **Expectations:** - Serve as the primary leader and role model for the club team. - Maintain a strong focus on member satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth. - Demonstrate adaptability, initiative, and a passion for fitness. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Client Relations & Experience:** - Deliver exemplary front‑end service and oversee member communication. - Lead club promotion, internal/outside prospecting, and membership retention efforts. - Champion group commercial and sport policies across all interactions. - **Operations & Safety:** - Ensure compliance with health & safety rules and regulatory displays. - Manage club logistics, cleanliness, equipment functionality, and facility upkeep. - Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inventory control. - **Staff Management:** - Recruit, train, and supervise club employees and interns. - Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and development plans. - Enforce standard operating procedures and internal protocols. - **Business Performance:** - Set and monitor monthly/annual sales and member metrics. - Implement action plans to achieve commercial and athletic objectives. - Provide regular reporting of key performance indicators to corporate. **Required Skills:** - Proven leadership and team‑management capability. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Results‑driven with a focus on member satisfaction and revenue growth. - Organizational and multitasking proficiency. - Knowledge of fitness club operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. - Proficiency in MS Office and club management software. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant fitness or club management certification preferred (e.g., Certified Club Manager, CGA).
