Chargé d'études VRD (H/F)

Job Description

**Job Title** VRD Studies Officer **Role Summary** Lead the design, technical assessment, and tender preparation for large-scale local VRD projects, ensuring feasibility, quality, and profitability. Drive the creation and optimization of the studies department, collaborate with operational teams, and secure competitive bids for public and private contracts. **Expectations** - 5+ years in VRD, including sewerage, stormwater, and potable water networks. - Proven track record in drafting technical briefs, managing tender dossiers, and estimating project costs. - Transition from field supervision to study-focused role with strong analytical and organizational skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct market intelligence and evaluate tender opportunities. - Perform on‑site surveys, quantitative and qualitative measurements. - Develop technical solutions, prepare cost calculations using Onaya. - Draft technical memoranda, DCEs, and tender submissions. - Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors; negotiate and defend proposals. - Transfer completed tender files to construction managers. - Design, structure, and continuously improve internal study processes. - Support strategic development and client engagement across VRD and Hydraulic Works divisions. **Required Skills** - VRD design and hydraulics (sewerage, stormwater, potable water). - Technical writing for tenders and technical memoranda. - Cost estimation and pricing software (Onaya). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. - Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or equivalent (Bac+3 to Bac+5). - Experience with specification drafting and tender management. - Onaya training provided; prior exposure preferred.
