Job title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Build and maintain web‑based features for a live‑entertainment hospitality platform using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js). Collaborate with product and engineering leads to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric solutions. Expectations: Deliver code from day one, contribute to architecture and design, engage in daily stand‑ups, code reviews, sprint planning; continuously improve coding practices; prototype new technologies; uphold UI/UX standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new features and refactor existing code in the React/Node.js ecosystem. - Write unit and integration tests, ensuring testable, clean code. - Participate in sprint ceremonies, pull‑request reviews, and QA activities. - Research and prototype emerging technologies for product expansion. - Design visually appealing UI components, adhering to design guidelines and accessibility. - Collaborate with the CTO and cross‑functional teams on platform enhancements. Required Skills: - 0–2 years of full‑stack development experience (internships or academic projects acceptable). - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and RESTful APIs. - Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks. - Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical abilities. - Attention to UI/UX aesthetics, responsive design, and accessibility. - Quick learner of new frameworks and best practices. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Portfolio demonstrating projects, code samples, and design judgment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience acceptable.
