**Job Title** Vice President of North America **Role Summary** Senior regional executive responsible for defining and executing strategic direction, driving sales growth, profitability, and market share across the United States and Canada for a global wear and surface protection company. Leads cross‑functional teams, oversees multi‑site manufacturing operations, and maintains financial discipline and operational excellence. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable results in sales, profit, and market share. - Lead with strategic clarity and adaptability. - Foster strong communication and collaboration across functions. - Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and P&L accountability. - Travel up to 70 % domestically and 10 % internationally. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and implement regional strategy and annual operating plan. - Plan and manage realistic forecasts, budgets, and financial reporting. - Drive sales activities to achieve market share growth. - Lead several manufacturing sites in the U.S. & Canada, overseeing production, quality, and delivery. - Guide new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. - Manage risk mitigation strategies and P&L results. - Build, mentor, and evaluate high‑performance sales and operations teams. - Communicate candidly with senior leadership, cross‑functional teams, and customers. **Required Skills** - Strategic planning and execution. - Cross‑functional leadership and team building. - Service‑oriented sales management (15+ years). - Financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis. - Strong communication and influencing abilities. - Operations management in high‑volume automated manufacturing. - Product launch and aftermarket service expertise. - Problem‑solving, innovation, and risk management. - Willingness to travel extensively. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or Metallurgy. - Proven track record of progressive leadership in service sales and operations.
