Job title: Head of Consulting
Role Summary
Lead the newly created Consulting Department to deliver strategic digital advisory services. Own the end‑to‑end consulting lifecycle from business development, client engagement, to delivery of high‑impact IT transformation projects. Drive the strategy, execution, and growth of the consulting practice while building a high‑performance team of consultants and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Expections
• 15+ years of senior consulting or strategic IT experience, preferably in management‑level advisory (C‑Level).
• Proven track record of leading complex digital transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in prospecting, winning new business, and managing client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and talent‑development skills with experience building and scaling consulting teams.
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally, integrating IT strategy into broader organisational transformations.
• Strategic thinker with visionary planning, change‑management expertise, and a passion for emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead strategic consulting engagements – define IT roadmaps, governance frameworks, and technology road‑mapping aligned with client business objectives.
2. Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring quality, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and measurable ROI.
3. Drive business development: prospect new opportunities, expand the client portfolio, and position the department as a trusted partnership.
4. Build, coach, and mentor a high‑performance consulting team; oversee recruiting and talent retention.
5. Develop and refine consulting methodologies, frameworks, and best‑practice libraries; champion continuous improvement of delivery tools.
6. Monitor market and technology trends, providing foresight and future‑ready advisory to clients and internal stakeholders.
7. Foster internal collaboration across delivery, operations, and product teams to embed IT strategy within wider transformations.
