Job Title: Director of Marketing – Apparel Role Summary: Lead the development and execution of integrated brand, digital, and in‑store marketing strategies for a specialty apparel retailer, ensuring consistent brand voice, commercial growth, and customer engagement across multichannel platforms. Expectations: Deliver measurable brand awareness and sales impact; maintain brand authenticity; meet budget and timeline targets; provide data‑driven insights to optimize campaigns; cultivate a collaborative, results‑focused marketing team and cross‑functional relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Design and roll out end‑to‑end marketing strategies aligned with business goals. - Lead concept‑to‑launch brand campaigns, ensuring clarity, consistency, and authenticity. - Manage in‑store marketing initiatives across multiple locations to enhance customer experience. - Supervise planning, creative development, execution, and post‑campaign analysis for the marketing team. - Partner with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and spend tracking. - Build analytics dashboards, interpret performance data, and recommend next steps. - Update brand positioning, guidelines, and tone while preserving unique brand identity. - Track consumer trends, seasonal cycles, and market shifts impacting specialty apparel. - Collaborate with merchandising, e‑commerce, and retail operations for alignment. - Coach and hold the marketing team accountable for quality and results. Required Skills: - Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Shopify experience. - Strong command of digital marketing platforms, social media, Google Analytics, and CRM systems. - Proven leadership, project management, and decision‑making abilities. - Analytics‑driven mindset with proficiency in translating data into actionable insights. - Hands‑on content creation and brand storytelling experience. - Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork. - Customer‑first, results‑driven retail marketing approach. - Experience in apparel or specialty retail highly preferred. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Certified, Digital Marketing) are desirable.
