Job Title
System Support Analyst
Role Summary
Provide end‑user device and application support, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network resources. Deliver both onsite and remote assistance, ensuring optimal performance and security of IT systems.
Expectations
- 6‑month contract with potential extension.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication with non‑technical users, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain endpoint devices (laptops, mobile, printers, audio/video gear).
- Deploy, update, and troubleshoot software applications (productivity, collaboration, business).
- Resolve hardware, software, and network incidents, including diagnostics, root‑cause analysis, and component replacement.
- Administer and support cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint, Exchange Online, ServiceNow).
- Maintain on‑premises services (Active Directory, file servers).
- Manage network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs).
- Apply IT security practices (antivirus, firewalls, policies).
- Review and improve IT processes, configuration, and documentation (ITIL based).
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders (executives, service desk).
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Android, iOS operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Visio, Project, Teams, Zoom.
- Knowledge of networking technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, cellular, wired, satellite).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Required Education & Certifications
- Minimum 2‑year technical diploma in Computer Science or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is an asset.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Azure Administrator, Intune, ITIL Foundation (if available).
