Job Description

**Job Title:** Salesforce Mulesoft Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end integrations between Salesforce and external systems using MuleSoft. Configure and optimize APIs, troubleshoot integration issues, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable data flow and alignment with business processes. **Expectations:** * Deliver clean, scalable integration solutions that meet technical and business requirements. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing status updates and raising risks early. * Continuously improve integration architecture and documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** * Build and configure MuleSoft APIs and connectors for Salesforce and third‑party applications. * Debug, test, and deploy integration solutions in production and sandbox environments. * Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for integration flows. * Write and maintain technical documentation, including integration design, architecture diagrams, and user guides. * Monitor integration health, resolve incidents, and implement preventative measures. * Collaborate with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and IT operations to ensure end‑to‑end alignment. **Required Skills:** * Proficient in Java, Groovy, or other JVM‑based languages. * Deep experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform: integration flows, API design, and data mapping. * Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) and integration patterns. * Object‑oriented programming (OOP) fundamentals. * Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. * Analytical mindset with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues. * Familiarity with API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API gateway). **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. * Minimum 3 + years of Salesforce development experience. * MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4) and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architecture Professional (c.i.ap). * Salesforce platform certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I) are advantageous but not mandatory.
