**Job Title**
Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of end‑to‑end solutions across Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience clouds. Deliver reusable assets using declarative and programmatic techniques, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices, security standards, and CI/CD workflows. Provide technical leadership within a cross‑functional Agile team, collaborating closely with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
**Expectations**
- Demonstrated ability to architect and ship complex Salesforce applications at enterprise scale.
- Strong command of TDD, unit test coverage, and diagnostic logging.
- Proficiency with Copado or equivalent CI/CD for Salesforce.
- Experience in source‑control, pull‑request review, and conflict resolution.
- Comfortable with integration patterns (REST/SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, Platform Events) and familiar with MuleSoft for middleware connectivity.
- Commitment to security, data model integrity, and cross‑team collaboration within an Agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop reusable components (Apex, LWC) and declarative flows across Sales, Service, Experience clouds.
- Write and maintain unit tests to achieve extensive coverage and implement effective logging/diagnostics.
- Use Copado to promote changes through sandboxes, UAT, and production.
- Manage source control, review pull requests, resolve merge conflicts, refactor and optimize code.
- Troubleshoot data/application issues, implement bug fixes, and extend existing features.
- Build inbound/outbound integrations and guide teams on Salesforce APIs and event architecture.
- Implement security via sharing models, roles, profiles, and permission sets.
- Collaborate with MuleSoft and other middleware for integration solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, define stories, and meet sprint goals.
- Conduct architectural reviews, maintain consistency across the product suite, and support Solution Review Boards.
- Support functional/nonfunctional testing and mentor junior developers.
- Engage in continuous learning, research new Salesforce capabilities, and contribute to best‑practice governance.
**Required Skills**
- Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Visualforce optional).
- Declarative development (Flows, Process Builder, Declarative Workflow).
- TDD, unit testing, test coverage metrics.
- CI/CD with Copado (or similar), Git, and source‑control best practices.
- Integration expertise: REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, Platform Events.
- MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform) fundamentals.
- Salesforce security architecture: sharing, roles, permission sets.
- Data modeling, data migration, and data quality best practices.
- Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), user‑story elicitation.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and architectural‑design skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification preferred.
- Additional certifications in integration or security (optional but advantageous).
