Job Description
Job title: Senior Salesforce Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain complex Salesforce solutions for healthcare programs, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal data governance. Work collaboratively with business analysts, product owners, and IT teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable, and compliant technical architectures. Expectations: 7+ years of Salesforce and enterprise development experience (Java/C# preferred), strong command of Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows, proven integration expertise (REST/SOAP, platform events, file‑based), and experience in regulated, sensitive data environments. Must work 8‑5 EST, participate in Agile/Scrum, adhere to CI/CD pipelines, conduct code reviews, mentor junior staff, and stay current with platform updates. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, code, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and declarative tools. - Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and well‑structured solutions. - Build and maintain integrations with external healthcare systems (payers, eligibility feeds, care management platforms, document management, e‑signature tools). - Ensure regulatory, compliance, and security requirements (HIPAA, data governance) are met. - Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and manage platform limits. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes. - Support release management: deployment planning, validation, and post‑release support. - Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across functions. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and platform enhancement. Required Skills: - Apex (classes, triggers, batch, queueable, schedulable) - Lightning Web Components (LWC) - Salesforce Flow design and implementation - REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, file‑based integration patterns - Salesforce data modeling, relational structures, security model - Source control (Git), CI/CD deployment processes - Agile/Scrum development methodologies - Analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills - Ability to influence technical decisions in a growth environment Required Education & Certifications: - Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II certification (highly desired) - Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Salesforce or enterprise development (Java/C#).
