Job Description

**Job Title:** TechOps IT Specialist I **Role Summary:** Front‑line IT Operations Specialist focused on macOS, SaaS tools, and network troubleshooting. Provides technical support for employees, manages device lifecycle and MDM, administers identity and access workflows, maintains AV and conference room setups, and contributes to security and automation initiatives to support rapid scaling. **Expectations:** * Deliver fast, empathetic support for 100+ employees. * Own end‑to‑end device and endpoint management. * Lead automation and standardization of IT processes. * Collaborate with Information Security and Engineering to improve audit readiness and security posture. * Support SOC2 compliance and emerging security projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide first‑line technical support (macOS, network, SaaS). * Onboard and offboard employees; configure and maintain MDM policies (Kandji/Iru). * Manage device procurement, provisioning, inventory, refresh cycles, repairs, and vendor coordination. * Administer SCIM‑based onboarding/offboarding and passwordless SSO/user provisioning. * Participate in access reviews, audit preparation, and remediation with InfoSec. * Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room AV and networking. * Support SOC2 compliance: vendor access reviews, SaaS security configuration, asset audits. * Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure support. * Maintain internal knowledge base and documentation. **Required Skills:** * macOS troubleshooting, terminal usage, and automation. * Proficiency with SaaS environments (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.). * MDM management (Kandji/Iru). * Basic identity & access management (SSO, SCIM). * Networking fundamentals (wired/wireless). * Familiarity with version control (git). * Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. * Understanding of security fundamentals; ability to support SOC2 initiatives. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). * No mandatory certifications required, but knowledge of ITIL, CompTIA A+, or similar is advantageous.
