**Job Title:** Internship – Technology M&A Analyst **Role Summary:** Six‑month analyst internship supporting the Technology M&A team in Paris. Assist across the full transaction lifecycle, from deal origination to closing, while contributing to marketing and research initiatives. Direct exposure to senior bankers and technology‑focused deals. **Expactations:** - Deliver high‑quality analytical work under tight deadlines. - Communicate effectively in French and English; additional language a plus. - Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset, teamwork, and adaptability. - Contribute to both transaction execution and business development activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare investment memoranda, pitch decks, and sector research (industry studies, strategic reviews, valuation). - Build and maintain business‑plan financial models. - Manage due‑diligence processes and data rooms. - Support commercial outreach: create screening materials, company profiles, and deal‑strategy presentations. - Identify and screen new acquisition or investment prospects. - Participate in the drafting of sectoral research papers and marketing collateral. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; proficient in financial modeling. - Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English; German or Spanish a plus. - Commercial acumen and ability to think strategically about technology transactions. - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Team player with a proactive, independent work style. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g., Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering). - Prior exposure to M&A, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital preferred. - No specific certifications required; finance proficiency expected.
