Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Manager Role Summary: Drive revenue growth by identifying, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities. Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and networking to proposal development and contract negotiation, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs. Expectations: - Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. - Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects. - Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to key decision‑makers. - Foster long‑term client relationships to secure repeat business and referrals. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential clients. - Prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, networking events, and digital outreach. - Develop customized sales strategies and proposals for target accounts. - Present solutions, negotiate terms, and close agreements. - Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless handover and delivery. - Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all activities in CRM. - Provide regular reports on pipeline status, win/loss analysis, and forecasting. Required Skills: - Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to understand customer pain points and translate them into solutions. - Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working independently. - Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). - Basic data‑analysis skills for tracking KPIs and reporting. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field. - 2+ years of business development or B2B sales experience. - Relevant sales certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Leader) preferred but not mandatory.
