**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices for client digital transformation projects. Drive continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure-as-code, observability, and a DevOps culture across cross‑functional teams while mentoring junior engineers and supporting pre‑sales activities.
**Expectations:**
- Demonstrate autonomy, rigor, and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
- Travel within France as required.
- Act as a trusted advisor from design through production.
- Contribute to business development through offer creation and pre‑sales support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and implement agile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) and automated testing (e.g., Cucumber).
- Deploy and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
- Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Kibana).
- Promote DevOps, GitOps, and SRE best practices across project teams.
- Lead and mentor an Infrastructure & Platform Engineering team, fostering skill development.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and project teams to deliver optimal client solutions.
- Participate in commercial activities: proposal writing, pre‑sales presentations, and client relationship building.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI preferred).
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
- Expertise in IaC tools, especially Terraform; familiarity with Ansible/Helm.
- Scripting/programming skills in Bash, Python, or equivalent.
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring/alerting platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of cloud observability tools (Kibana, GCP Metrics, Centreon).
- Ability to coach and develop junior engineers.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client‑facing abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (minimum Bac+5).
- Relevant DevOps certifications are a plus (e.g., Terraform Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS/GCP/Azure certifications).
